Shreveport, LA trip - Friday, July 28

We will drive up to Shreveport on Friday to visit my Uncle Harper and his family at Doctors Hospital. He is seriously ill and has been in treatment for awhile. On Saturday afternoon, we will drive down to Lecompte to visit my brother and family and return home on Sunday.

Donna will fly over to New Orleans on Monday and then go to Dallas the following week.

Silver Eagles - Monday, July 10, 2006

It is time for chicken wings and beer again so our Silver Eagles will meet for lunch at Hooter's on FM 1960 at I-45 to enjoy fine food in pleasant surroundings.

The second Monday of each month is the day we retired guys have wings and beer at Hooters. Many are from our subdivision but we also are joined by area friends.

4th of July 2006 Parade

Cypresswood subdivision had their 4th of July parade on Saturday, July 1 this year from the West Clubhouse to the East Clubhouse on Cypresswood Drive.

This picture has Dan Nugent with old John Halbirt (Donna's father) in fromt with Donna and Jackson Nugent on the backseat. Tammy is on the trunklid with Ted and Matthew Nugent. We all had a good time at this years parade as we rode in a 64 Ford convertable.
