Dermatologic surgery on toe

Head to toe exam on Monday, Nov 26 by Dr. Sharon R. Hymes, Dermatology Physician. The doctor said the Pyogenic Granuloma that was removed at Northwest Diagnostic on Monday, Nov 12 had grown back. She thought something may be under it and arranged for my surgery on Monday afternoon at the Mohs & Dermasurgery Unit.

Dr. Tri Nguyen, Program surgical director for the dermatology residency at UTSHS performed the surgery on my toe with local anesthesia. My wife said the incision runs about one inch or the length of my little toe with many stitches which will be removed in 3 weeks. I will be on crutches for one week. The doctor said there is not much skin on the little toe so the stitches are tight.

I am slightly slower but plan to heal fast.

Donna went to the doctor this morning, Nov 29, and has Walking Pneumonia. He also said she may have some Asthma Her ENT doctor had also told her that she may have some Asthma. She got a shot in the rear and a stack of prescriptions to fill. She also had a nebulizer treatment and will start using her Mom's old nebulizer.

She was off to drop off the prescriptions and then shop at Kohls. She and I will go out to Dan and Tammy's later to take Jackson to school and then let them take a nap. There is a Christmas celebration at Tomball College we are going to at 5:30 pm with Tammy and the boys. We had some time with the grandsons yesterday so this is two days in a row with the 3 boys.

Silver Eagles Poem

The second Monday of each month is the day we retired guys have wings and beer at Hooters. We go at 1:15 pm to avoid the lunch hour rush. Many are from our subdivision but we also are joined by area friends.
