Silver Eagles - Monday, Oct 13, 2008

It is time for chicken wings and beer again so our Silver Eagles will meet for lunch at Hooter's on FM 1960 at I-45 to enjoy fine food in pleasant surroundings.

The second Monday of each month is the day we retired guys have wings and beer at Hooters. We go at 1:15 pm to avoid the lunch hour rush. Many are from our subdivision but we also are joined by area friends.

Our Cypresswood 50 Plus Club has a Harris County Pct 4 bus reserved for the fun day. We leave at 1:30 PM from the East Clubhouse for the Texas Renaissance Festival.

Priscilla's Retirement Party - Saturday, October 11, 2008

Bonnie and Bill are having a party at their home for Priscilla. We have been in our Supper Club group for over 25 years and enjoy getting together with our friends.

Ed and Peg Holten had Supper Club at their home on October 4 but I was in Alexandria, Louisiana to celebrate my 70th birthday with my twin brother David.
