Galveston Island - Dec 26 - 28, 2009

Donna and I enjoyed a fun weekend in Galveston to take the 3 grandsons to the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens. We also did the IMAX, Aquarium and the Ride Film. Dan and Tammy had a adjoining room at our hotel. On Monday, the grandsons enjoyed a ferry ride to the Bolivar Peninsula and lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

Thursday, Dec 10, 2009 - Ashland Retiree Club

Our Ashland Retiree Club has their annual Christmas party at hte Sugar Creek Country Club starting at 11:30 am.

Donna will have a followup visit for the cataract surgery on her left eye and then we will attend the Ashland Retiree Christmas Party for lunch. We always have a white elephant gift exchange that is fun for our members.

50 Plus Christmas Party - Tuesday, Dec 8, 2009

Our Cypresswood 50 Plus Club had their annual Christmas dinner at Via Emilia Italian Restaurant on FM 1960. We had a good turnout with 42 at the party. There was enough funds in our treasury to give every member a $5 bill from their $10 yearly dues.
